Vocational education is not within the top priorities in the conventional education system in Sri Lanka. After schooling, only lesser number of students get selected to government universities to follow undergraduate courses. Country’s inability to house more students in government universities due to financial constraints is the main reason that deprives a considerable number of students to pursue their higher education . Many students are tempted to pursue higher education at arts streams because they have the desire to serve at a conventional government office. But following art subjects increases the number of unemployed graduates and bring technical professionals to the Sri Lanka from foreign countries. Technology is important to Sri Lanka, as a developing country. There were several institutions that provide vocational education in Sri Lanka, and many of these organizations measure the professional competency of the survey. Therefore, the government has identified qualitative levels, setting up some standards, and has established a qualification framework for NVQ. This starts with Level 1 and runs up to Level 7, which is equal to a degree. Especially in the case of failing in school education, however, an adult of any age who is most skilled in their professional field can reach the NVQ degree level, For more information, please contact our organization.
